Diamond House was the second detox/rehab I have ever been to – sometimes the first time around doesn’t work or is not enough (especially if you’re not ready). I am celebrating two years sober next month and am so grateful to Vicki and everyone at Diamond House. They have followed up and checked in on me and I actually had the opportunity to go and speak as alumni – it was a true gift to be able to share hope. Because there is hope.

While I was at Diamond House, it was the most humble place to detox. The food was delicious, prepared fresh every day, the atmosphere was good also. The cherry on top was all of the staff, everyone was so friendly and kind, it made my experience a very nice one.

When my husband was admitted to Diamond House and I was very impressed with the atmosphere and caring nature of the staff. The facility takes on a very small number of inpatient residents which makes the facility feel like visiting friends or family vs an institutional feel that most people picture in their head.

I appreciated the facilities welcoming nature in allowing me to visit once a day and participate in select group activities with my husband. I also enjoyed how forthcoming the staff was with updates on my husband’s progress.

Without Diamond House’s influence I think the process to sobriety would have been much more challenging as they armed my husband with a lot of tools to help cope with the challenges involved and some much needed direction that we were missing in our prior attempts to sobriety. We are very fortunate to have Diamond house as a resource in the treatment of my husbands detox and the continued path to sobriety

Having been in and out of multiple rehabs. This place is by far the best one I have been to. This is the most individualized program I have been to. There is no way to get lost in the shuffle of a facility with more clients than staff. The staff looks at the clients as people not as dollar signs. The atmosphere is safe and very home-like. The program is multi-layered to promote whole healing from your mind, body and spirit. Thank you so much to the staff for allowing me to grow and be the man I was created to be

I love Diamond House. I love all of the caring staff. They truly show concern and love to each patient. Everything is well organized and seems to flow easily Day to Day.

Not only is the staff amazing the house is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. You get your own room so you can have all of the privacy you need. You can wash your clothes and shower when you want. The chef and food are also wonderful. You will want for nothing other than to focus on yourself. They have reading sessions and counseling. But nothing is forced. It’s just the time you need to get yourself to a clearer state of mind. I’m so grateful for Diamond House.

Diamond House Detox was a saviour for myself and my family. From my initial contact with staff members (via phone) to the present (weeks after discharge) all staff members have truly cared about their residents’ recovery and well being. The house is very clean and inviting, the food is marvelous (their personal chef is great!), and each resident has their own private room.

They have a detox program as well as a rehabilitation program and staff members will assist with creating a personal, tailored recovery plan for each resident. They also provide a strong foundation network that residents can contact even after they leave Diamond House.

I cannot thank Vicky and her staff enough for all they have done to assist in such a dire situation of alcohol addiction.

This was my first time in detox and I am very grateful I got this place. It’s comfortable, clean, beautiful, and inviting. Each one of the staff is awesome! I feel I could go to them for anything, plus they are very personable. I would recommend this place to anyone going through a hard time with drugs/alcohol and who need a place to come to where they can rebuild themselves. Thank you, Vicky!

I was in Diamond House (DH) in December 2018. I am an alcoholic addict with PTSD and depression. I arrived at DH late in the evening of the 26th. I was scared to death. Fear gripped me because I had not been away from my family in more than 23 years. I was also experiencing heavy withdrawal and was afraid of what the detox would bring.

I had been trying to detox myself for a few months and no matter how hard I tried to get clean, I repeatedly failed. I had sweats, shakes, hallucinations, anxiety, pain, but fear had me.

The relief I felt from the moment I arrived is indescribable. I was treated with respect, love, kindness, and dignity from the moment I arrived. DH truly has thought of every detail to assist us addicts and alcoholics gain a foothold on this disease. Every activity is designed to assist us with getting our lives back.

One beauty of the program at DH is the introduction to several programs of recovery, for example; AA, Celebrate Recovery, NA, SMART Recovery, LifeRing, and Refuge Recovery. Attending these meetings helped me find where I fit. Today I do both AA and Celebrate Recovery and this is what is working for me.

Diamond House worked on my whole recovery and has set me on a path to success and peace. They treat each person as an individual. I was medically detoxed and my addictions, PTSD and depression were treated.

There is not enough gratitude I could show or say to cover the gifts I have received. I HAVE MY FAMILY BACK, I have self confidence, and the shame I walked in with and have always felt has been lifted.

I still work hard to maintain myself, my sobriety and be productive in this world. Diamond House Detox provided the foundation I needed for success. The comfort and amenities provided are too many to mention. The food is nothing short of amazing. The spacious comfortable rooms afford us the opportunity for alone time to reflect on assignments or hard issues we are working on. Outside assistance was brought in to assist me with my PTSD. What ever the issues is, Diamond House will address it and provide the individual attention some of us need

have been given a miracle and a new path forward…THE RIGHT PATH. Thank you Diamond House.
